Poetry Performance:
Friday 1st October.

Organized by Susie Campbell. Poets from different nationalities pay homage to Federico García Lorca through a multi-lingual performance of poems on the themes of love, death and poetry.

Music:
Thursday 23rd September and Saturday 9th October.

Guitarist Roger Newman, accompanied by the voices of Silvana and Liliana Montoya, will interpret four folk songs collected by F.G. Lorca.

“EVERYTHING COUNTS”. Puppet show. By Pedro Capdevila. “Water is the source of life. The wind says: As I blow I discover the colours that lie sleeping in the depths. A thousand flowers say a thousand things for a thousand lovers. Peter (goblin) builds spaces, creates images where; the insects speak and dream, the fish find…. their destiny? Trees, plants, flowers … all share their happiness with people… The sky floats on the air like an immense lotus flower.”

Lorca for Children:
Saturdays.

Puppet making, painting and clay workshops for children. We’ll look at some of Lorca’s drawings, poetry and plays to make puppets, pictures and clay figures.
